Claude Code for Non-Developers: Built With Zero Coding
Claude Code for non-developers: a daily planner, a meeting notes analyzer, competitor research and two coaches, all built with zero coding.
Claude Code isn’t only for coding. Everyone thinks it’s a developer tool. Here’s what Claude Code for non-developers looks like.
I write code from time to time. But Claude Code is the non secret super power that helps me and my team in running my operations.
Claude Code for non-developers: four things I built with zero coding
1. Daily Planner. Looks at my emails, my transcripts and prepares me for the day. I do this one religiously first thing in the morning.
2. Meeting Notes Analyzer and Preparer. Reads cross-functional meeting notes. Catches conflicts I’d miss. Spots opportunities humans don’t see.
3. Competitor Analytics. Analyzes competitor content. Does the research. Then drafts newsletter posts in my voice. One command.
(Still debugging this one. But when it works? Chef’s kiss.)
4. Leadership coach. After many years in leadership positions, I’ve become self aware of some of my weaknesses. Let’s have Claude Code analyze my transcripts and give me coaching on what I could do better.
And one extra:
5. Coach for difficult conversations. I learned this from “The Marketing Against the Grain Podcast.” With many emails and transcripts, I can identify patterns of many of my partners. So now I have a document with how to have difficult conversations with key stakeholders.
All not fully automated. All running on agents I set up once.
The first three attempts failed
I screwed up the first three attempts. Agents that asked wrong questions. Dashboards that tracked metrics nobody cared about. Content briefs that read like robot spam.
Fourth time worked.
The setup? Created a folder with background on myself and my departments. Fed it to Claude Code. Built the agents with prompts. Now they run on command.
What manual work could you automate?
