LIVE WEBINAR · THURSDAY JUNE 18 · 12:00 PM ET

Claude Cowork for Finance — Live

What AI can actually do for a finance team, and how to set it up from scratch. Forty-five minutes. No code on the screen.

Most finance leaders haven't started using AI. Not because they're skeptical. Because the gap between "AI is changing finance" and "I have a chat window open and I'm doing real work in it" is wider than people admit. On Thursday June 18 at 12pm ET, I'll show you finished work AI is producing inside finance functions today, then walk through the setup from a blank screen. Live. Forty-five minutes.

Forty-five minutes, two parts

PART 1 · 18 MINUTES

What AI Can Do For You

A walking tour of finished work AI is producing inside finance functions today. A 3-statement model. A QoE memo. An operations dashboard. A board pack. A lender update. Each one with the time math: what it used to take, what it takes now. No demos built for the camera. The actual deliverables we ship to clients and lenders.

PART 2 · 17 MINUTES

Claude Cowork From Scratch

I go to a blank screen. Install. Sign in. First prompt. First real-finance workflow on real (sanitized) data. The screen never leaves the demo. If a prompt fails, I'll tell you, and we'll watch how I recover. The honest version of the first hour you'd otherwise spend yourself.

Then 5 minutes Q&A and 2 minutes on what to do next. The Q&A is the part that doesn't translate to the replay.

Want the on-ramp before the session?

I wrote Your 10-Step Guide to Set Up Claude Cowork for finance leaders who want to start before June 18. One page. Ten steps. The app, the plan, the folder, the files, the project, the model, the first session. Five-minute read. Designed so a finance leader can execute every step without a developer in the room.

Common questions

Will there be a replay? +
Yes. Email-gated. The Q&A segment isn't trimmed. The live audience gets the room dynamic and the answers to questions you couldn't have known to ask in advance — that's the part that doesn't translate.
What tools should I have installed before the session? +
Nothing required. I'll walk through the setup from zero on stage. If you want to follow along live, install Claude Desktop (claude.com/download) and have a credit card ready for Pro ($20/mo) or Max ($200/mo). I'll explain on stage why Max is the better play if you're using this for real finance work.
Is this for fractional CFOs, in-house finance leaders, or deal teams? +
All of them. The setup segment is identical for everyone. The artifact tour shows finance work that maps to fractional engagements, in-house finance functions, and deal-team diligence. If you run any of those, you'll get value.
I've already used Claude / ChatGPT / Copilot. Will this be useful? +
If you're already past hour 50 (you've delegated real work and built workflows around it), skip it. If you're at hour 1 or hour 5, this is the on-ramp. The honest answer is most finance leaders are still at hour 1.
Will you share specific prompts? +
Yes. Five copy-pasteable prompts come in the cheat sheet (in the registration email) and I'll demonstrate at least three more on stage.
Do you sell anything at the end? +
Two things, both optional. (1) A subscription to my newsletter, CFO Lab — free. (2) A discovery call with strategIQ if you want done-for-you AI-native finance work. Two minutes total. The rest of the 45 is content.
